NUO: the material which makes every creation unique

NUO is an innovative and patented material, which comes from research and Italian excellence. It consists of very thin sheets of pure wood, combined with fabric using low-environmental-impact glue. Subsequently, micro laser incisions are made on the sheet of wood, in order to make it soft and supple and therefore handy for many uses and processes, just like leather.

With its grain, NUO makes every creation unique. It is a living material with ever-changing textures and the passage of time makes it more precious, enhancing the grain and the shades, enriching the expression of shapes and projecting every product beyond fashion.

Respect for the environment

NUO’s mission focuses on sustainability and respect for the environment. This product is natural, sustainable, biodegradable. Wood is FSC certified with licence code C123579 and only comes from legal forests, regenerated in a continuous cycle, in full respect of the entire ecosystem.
